Are you using a regulator in the line between the fuel pump and the carbs?

Which carb is flooding? the one closest in the line to the fuel pump, or the one furthest from the fuel pump?

You may have to put a Y-joint in the line coming from the fuel pump, then a regulator in each line coming from the Y before each carb. Then you know for sure each carb is getting the same pressure/amount of fuel.

Yep using a reg racer135, the flooding carby is the one furthest from the fuel pump.

Ok, I found that the fuel regulator is faulty so I will replace that but even with the fuel pump turned off and low fuel pressure, fuel is leaking out of the pump jet holder (on one carby only) whenever I open the throttle.
Rebuild time? carbys were fully rebuilt about 12 months ago and have had limited use, strange.

EDIT: Oh and I tightened up the floats a bit to stop them sticking :)

You got any pictures of the pump jet holder..... I'm not sure what this is. On Mikuni's it's the pump jet/nozzle is housed in a cast pocket on the tops of the carb barrels, a little cap covers it. The only time it leaks is if the seal has expired or it the cap is cross thread into the housing.

Thanks for the response Chris, I was hoping for some input form you.
I will change the O ring and ally washer to see if that helps.
Anyway here is a pic of the Pump jet in the pump holder beside the hole it fits in:

When you say it leaks is it leaking on the outside of the carb body?

You should always get fuel spraying from the accel pump jet when opening the throttle but if it is leaking on the outside I would expect the washer is kaput and the jet possibly blocked causing back pressure?

Not sure that I can even help, never owned dello's. The strange thing is; the Mikuni's and Webers are the other way around to dellorto's where their sealing (of the pump nozzle and pump nozzle cap) is by a small aluminum washer on the bottom and plastic/rubber seal on top.

I reckon you're on the right track... by addressing the seal with replacements but try swapping all the seals with the other side to see if that's the case. If it leaks on the opposite side and not on that side you know it's the seals. If it still leaks and doesn't leak on the other side you know it's something to do with the contacting surfaces of threads at the seal.

If both sides leak, it's bad seals and a bad seal between surfaces/threads.

Thanks for the good input guys hopefully the new seals will help but I am unsure as to why it would start leaking all of a sudden when its hardly been used???
Will do the seals first then check for blockages if I can.
Thanks again.
