i have a 1976 120y GL with a fully rebuilt A12
the 120y is pretty much dead stock apart from being lowered and sound system. it is a yellow/orange colour with a black vinyl roof, original vinyl sun visor, original over fenders, original mudflaps. it has only got 87,000kms original. the interior is immaculate with no tears in the seats or anything only 1 crack in the dash. has rego till march.

now for the motor which was built by bige
A12 bored out and with a machined A14 crank so it now has 1400 capacity with out having to change engine numbers. the bottom end has machined A14 conrods and new higher compression flat top pistons now running at 10.5:1.
the head is an oval port A14 so it has a bigger capacity, it has been mildly ported and polished, valves have 2 angles for a better seal in the head, also has double valve springs and solid rocker gear spacers and an A14 head gasket.
the cam has been reground and works mid to higher up in the rev range.
the engine has got a new double weber manifold with 2 reconditioned and tuned 40 webers. only has stock fuel pump but has no problem supplying them. it has electronic igntion. it has 2" extractors on it with a 2" system and a single muffler. it isnt too loud but sounds nice when you put your foot down.
the original 4 speed gearbox has also been reconditioned with new synchros, bearings and a new heavy duty clutch.
the motor has got roughly 2500kms and it is due to be dyno tuned just to get the webers running perfectly.

i dont really have a price in mind for it so i am open to any offers or swaps. i am not desperate to sell but i would just like something else.
i am located in wollongong nsw roughly 1 hours south of sydney. please feel free to pm me with any questions or offers thanks.
pics will hopefully be up later tonight as i have to compress them

You might get more if you parted it out..

Maybe grand or two for the motor and if you have another engine to put into the Y maybe a couple for that as well?

Tidy... but not worth a million bucks. $3k I'd consider to be 'up there' as far as prices go.

I paid $6k for mine which has a CA18DET, aftermarket ECU, etc.
