I’d Take the plugs out and that should tell u what direction to head. Probably fowled up From worn or incorrectly set point gap . A series Is very simple I’d be surprised if anything major. No Grease on the dizzy lobe will make the points close not long after changing em .

I reckon it would look way better without the vents in the bonnet and guards .

Oh dude I really would prefer to keep the whole lot complete so someone can have a complete setup. I do have another console but I'm not sure if it has brackets with it. Il have a look this weekend and If I do find some il pm u .
I fitted a 120y or sunny console to my 1200 years ago and I'm almost certain i used the original 1200 brackets . so maybe its possible to use 1200 ones? (Maybe easier to get)
I can compare the two for you but and see.

Convert your mint auto b210/120y with these reasonably low km parts ,
Nice 56a 4speed gearbox, Manual Pedal box inc firewall seal, clutch cable, good clutch assy inc fork and bearing carrier, flywheel n bolts , Spigot bearing, sandwich plate, gearbox mount, speedo assy ,speedo cable, reverse light switch, starter motor, tail shaft ( this is not the best but will get it moving if needed), centre console n brackets, the little plate thing near shifter on tunnel, all bolts (original) needed I will provide .

probably more but I can't think of what else is there. Some parts listed u may not need like starter motor(auto n manual may be the same?) dd will know anyway.

Looking for $500 for all,
or $300 for everything except the gearbox .

Also have a b210/120y brake booster in good order $120

B210/120y factory tacho $80

B210/120y coupe wiring harness $20

B210/120y gearbox tunnel $20

B210/120y steering column $25

I Have a few other b210/120y parts left Il dig em out n post up when get time.

May do cheaper if your polite .

Pick up Scarborough nsw or I can deliver within about 60kms for small fee

best to text me on o4o1937684- nick

Cheers

I found trx wheels to be too big and heavy for a stockish Datsun 1200, I reckon it would be similar story on a b310 especially with a 205/60. Best thing I ever did was take them off. Id be looking for 13/14 inch globes, hotwires , challengers . Will Drive better and u can still get em cheap.

Congrats man ....Good to see this car finally got on the road ! And looks killer too.
Allthough im an A series man , 4ages are so good in a Datto , plenty of extra power can be made if needed too. Although i think 100 kw is plenty for 1200.
My mate started with a 100kw small port over the years its evolved to a 300kw atw 4agte still using stock gze bottom end. It's quite unbelievable the abuse they handle.
Nice car , like the style , enjoy the cruising .

I used to run 15x7 -0 .but I needed to run a 165x50 tyre. I think it was a nankang ns2 ,which are a real 165 and quite skinny. The ute is pretty slammed and didn't actually rub at all at the rear, although it looked undrivable. Don't know if this link will work but there's are some old pics on ozdat (name your wheel thread).

yes that a valid point , there is nothing mentioned about how the car is running .but there is obviously pretty strong smell, so the seal will help but still may be not actually fixing the problem . I have had floats that have been bent and work fine 95% of the time and randomly stick for a short amount of time.
