Subaru is selling a 5-stroke miller cycle engine-powered car now.

I guess 6-stroke engine is one better.

He's from Country SA north of Adelaide isn't he? I read a bit on this a while ago. My guess is there's still some issues with emissions/ oil consumption as with any motor that has rings slide past a port/ valve. Brilliant idea none the less. There was a news article or two on it somewhere.

DD, i think mazda where the first w/ miller mass tech in the 80s?

Id never read or heard of oiling issues but Im sure with
diesel fuel higher compression will be pretty close to
contact between the opposing pistons.

Itd be nice to see how much taller/shorter itd makes the engine
