yeah its gunna get crazy for 16 hours or so, ive never seen a cyclone just floods and bushfires.

Hopefully it turns out like Perths recent "major storm!" last week we were told its a once in 40 year event blah,blah...
Perth got 10 minutes of rain & no destructive winds, out in the bush they copped it a bit worse though.
Fingers crossed but it looks bad to me.

It's fukin huge dude. It won't disappear.

The diameter of the eye is something like 50km......compared to Tracy which was 12km (and a category 4).

Feeling real bad for the people up there, this is going to be an absolute tragedy, the bloody thing is just getting bigger and bigger.

EDIT: Funnily enough I spent the day ringing all my mates and mum up north, got a fair few friends in cairns and pt.douglas. I was doing the same thing weeks ago when the floods hit Brissy and Toowoomba, how much more can QLD take?

I live in South Africa hence there's not much that scares me. But I went and checked a satellite view of the cyclone that's probably trying it's best to suck up half of Australia at this very moment, all I can tell you is that looks scarier than staring down the barrel of a hijacker's gun...
