I did plenty of searching around before asking this guys, but wondering what Coupe owners have done in the way of retractable seatbelts?

The general consensus seems to be a K1512 belt with a K7099 drop link. However, how do you mount the drop link in the coupe? I noticed there's a mount for a coathanger type thing above the rear window but that's only a small bolt.

Thoughts or pics would be great!

Running stock belts in the back

Used universal Kilpan belts in the front. Ratchet assy bolts to base of B pillar, where stock belt attaches and made mounting which was installed in the B pillar for the top point. Buckle assy bolts to original mount point on tunnel.

Because of the size of B pillar, could only get it about 1/2 way up.

Have you got any pictures of the mounting on the B pillar? Was it hard? Involve any welding etc?

Nut welded to a 100 x 25 x 3mm plate. That you slip inside the pillar and it is then welded through some holes that you pre drill into the b pillar.

Hi guys I'm looking at doing the same thing soon. Last time I looked into this I played around with a 120y belt. From what I remembered it fitted in but it stuck out too much which made it hit on the seat. I will work something out eventually as I'm thinking of mounting the reel inside the lower section of the b pillar. Before I cut and chop I need to do some research first

On that note, I went to Bursons last night to check out a belt for fitment. The seats hit the inertia reel, and my seats won't adjust either!!

Not sure what to do about this :(

I feel your pain. My next thought is to move the reel closer to the back seat. That should work but I'm sure it will need plating as I don't think it is as strong at that point. Let us know how u go
