Hey Chris, what brand of cleaning solution are you using? I've got a can of Berryman brand carb soaking solution but they didn't come out that shiny.

Evan, chemicals will never do enough to remove corrosion and scale. You need to either take them into to someone with a hot tank. Or keep scrubbing as best you can. I use a pretty broad range of chemicals but equipment like an ultrasonic cleaner are fairly crucial.

Troy, no biggie mate, they were quite bad but only on the inside, the exterior was okay. The throttle shaft on one carb also had a hesitation but the replacements all spin nice and free.
