Anyone know a good way to remove the lower water pipe from the block? The one that comes off the water pump to the lower radiator outlet.

I just did this last week for the breather tube. I would guess the water tube comes out the same way.

This is the same way I use for removing the similar
sized water outlet tube at the front but with a piece
of leather to avoid bite marks. VGrips are saviours.

Good question. I just hammered it straight off. Away from the block. Only took 3 or 4 medium taps. YMMV.
