Gday Hayden
I only know how without saving the rubber seal.
Run a BOXCUTTER Knife between glass and rubber on the inside then do the same on outside top edge , cut off in sections if easyerthen with a mate on outside to hold the screen from falling.... give the screen some firm but not to aggresive thumps with ya palms around the edge on the inside .... Work for me .....others may do it differantly.
cheers Bazz

You could also wait for a 35+ degrees day and push it out with your feet(wearing soft soled shoes). A second guy on the inside can lift the internal rubber ridge, being careful not to lever the window. Cutting the inside ridge with a box cutter is the normal method.

I go the outside boxcutter method the whole way around past teh glass, but I've used a chissel for some reason, proby cos it's nicer to push around the glass. I haven't had to put one back in so I'll definatley need a friend for that task

So a 'box cutter' is what I refer to as a stanley knife. These are available at any hardware store (Bunnings,Mitre10 etc).

You haven't explained why you are doing this..are you replacing the screen? If so you'd be better off trying to save the window rubber by smashing the screen and then removing the rubber. Mind you if the rubber is full of gunky old windscreen silicone it might just be easier to buy a new one. Plenty of 1200 ones on ebay and Rare Spares, but I'm not sure about 120y ones.

Good luck.
