This old girl is getting the boot.

I am looking for buyers who actually have the money, please don't waste my time. I have limited internet access and simply won't reply to time wasting inquiries.

Here is the most recent photo I have of the car, note the big dish wheels aren't included. It currently has 12inch stockies with whitewalls. When I get some time I'll edit this advert so as it has all of the information that you need.

Looking for full payment by Monday the 26th of March 2011. The car owes me a fair bit of money, and I am pursuing $6000.00 for it. A14 Twin Carb engine with a big (too big) exhaust. Have all sorts of other good #OOPS# to sell if you are after something.

Reason for selling: No longer residing in Aus - I am up to my eyeballs in Datsuns here so there are plenty other projects to keep me entertained.

Send me a PM WITH an email address and your offer. Non refundable 10% deposit will be paid by the buyer upon agreement of sale.

Please note there was a fairly pricey repair bill that has contributed (significantly) to the price tag. The car was involved in a minor road accident where the apron, grill, guard, bonnet and bumper were damaged, these were professionally soda blasted primed, prepped and repainted.

Also has cobra classic seats and KB10 sports steering wheel.

Here is the build thread.

WHOOPS! I meant full payment by March 2012.

Emails have been sent out to the addresses supplied.

Here is a basic rundown of the car (basically what I emailed out):

The car is located in Adelaide. It is currently registered until the end
of this month and it will (should) have no issues getting road worthy approval.

Transmission:
4-speed 56A

I do have a 5 speed gearbox but this will not be included in the
sale unless you are willing to purchase this at additional cost.

The transmission tunnel has been cut to allow a gear floor shift. Another
hole has been cut to allow a 5-speed gearbox clutch lever to fit. I am yet
to cover this hole with a proper recessed cap. At the moment I have simply
covered it with a strong adhesive and some foam.

The factory 3spd column shift gearbox and engine will be included – the
motor was okay but a little tired when removed.

Engine: Stock A14 with thrift roundport head and twin 35mm dellorto’s.

The A14 is the thrift version with a round port head. It will be fitted with a
set of quite rare twin Dellorto 35 DHLB carburettors that have been
completely rebuilt – I haven’t even fitted them yet, as he engine is currently fitted with an A15 with twin 40mm Mikuni carbs that I have sold
to a friend and we have been testing in my car.

The engine is in good condition, will confirm compression figures when I can.

The engine mounts are tidy and look factory, in South Australia a 1000 can
have an engine up 1.4ltr but any more than that and it will require
professional inspection/approval.

I do have a complete GX top end [head, carbs, inlet and exhaust manids]
but that would also come at additional cost and the exhaust setup would
have to be a different format to accommodate the GX exhaust manifold.

Interior: The interior is in very good condition, the back seat is good
and the front seats are the greatest seat I have ever sat in – there is
nothing like cobra classics. I did modify the seat mounts to fit the cobra
classic seats. I will also be fitting a brand new carpet. Will try and get some extra photos of the inside that I have somewhere.

Exterior: The guard that was painted again has a noticeable change in
colour largely due to the fact that it is fresh paint. The car is quite
good and the paint really shines when it’s had a decent buff.

Brakes: I have just overhauled all of the brake cylinders and replaced the
front cylinders with brand new units. The master
cylinder is a big 7/8 twin pot jobby that works very well.

Included/additional parts: The original engine and seats will be included,
although they are all in need of service/repair. I can probably include a
spare bonnet a spare guard and some other bits and pieces that I find but
I’ll have to have a look.

So much history Chris.

This is a very clean example of a thou. And it would take bugger all to bring it back to standard if that's your thing.
