Hey guys!!

I want to change my avatar to the Guacamobile....

I tried to "upload my avatar" but that didn't seem to work...

Does the file need to be a jpg or a bmp? Or something else?

I'm jealous of the cool people with their cool avatars!!

Thanks in advance!!

Greg

Size does matter.

Check the properties of the picture you are trying to upload and make sure it fits the prescribed size.

Jpeg or gif is better, dont use bmp

I must be a 120x120, less tha 15k image

use a Picture editor, to resize you image to the requered size

Cool!!

I'll have to try that when I get home...

My boss might get a little disgruntled if I start working on that right now.....

I'll have to root through the photo album to find the "perfect" pic of the little critter!!

Thanks guys!!

Now, if we can just get John to use a Datsun instead of a Volkswagen. This isn't VW affliction after all!

agreed, they are over engereered, over hyped and a pain in the a$$ to work on.
add to that, that motor is sideways.
leave it to the germans to screw up a good car

Mine's easy to work on. And I don't think there's anything wrong with a sideways engine, necessarily. I'm not sure how they screwed it up because all the Golf's are FWD?

I'm not trying to defend Volkswagens, but I don't see the need to bash them either. I hate to say it, but Datsun guys seem to be the worst about bashing other peoples cars for no reason. It's not cool, and just makes you sound like you secretly think your car is inferior.

BTW, Hondas suck.

no offense intended, but they all suck when you work on them for a living. Vw does some strange stuff, but then so do the others.
I ain't bashing anyone or any thing.
they just don't make them as simple as they used to, like the 1200 was/is

I don't care much for the newer VW's myself. Too cushy and complex for me as well.

Mine's an '85 and pretty much anything after a '92 is not very user-serviceable.
