Inferior D16 honda sohc 16v with 29mm inlet x 25mm exhaust valves, 75mm bores, 90mm stroke with smaller valves than ca16de are making over 450hp so 200cc less with 31.2mm inlet x 28mm exhaust valves is no problem with boost.

If rules change again im willing to go for a ca12det :) just will need more revs

Steve Knight or Phunkdoktaspok did a Ford Falcon XE or similar front disc brake setup using the Falcon uprights and using Falcon balljoints as they are more common and looked very good but cant find the pictures.

He machined the double top and single bottom wishbone out to suit the bigger ford BJs.

How does that box sit? Gearstick would be very far back! Usually most 1200 gus use the stumpy or shorter 71B and 71C boxes. Will be interesting how it sits.

Nice Sump looks like you have its gonna be fast with a capital F

Any luck with Steve Knight Kustoms or Steves info I sent you for the brakes?
The XD front setup sounds pretty good using commonly available Ford balljoints and wheel range that is hard to beat.

be careful with stud pattern mismatch might not be engineer-able?
For the money of the Maddat you could easily fit the 5 stud XD uprights
dont give up too quickly now you are almost there.
