I have for sale my L20 engine (engine has everything - starter motor, alternator, waterpumps, manifolds, clutch, carburetor ect.) and 4 speed Gearbox - also have twin 45 webers and manifold that i may part with for the upgrade i planned for the l20 if it takes someones intrest

Both engine and gearbox are standard - engine has been rebuilt some time ago but has not been run for approx 4 months was a planned swap for the ute but have spent huge money on my A15 for a great street and track package have no need for the engine

Willing to sell both for reasonable offer's asking $700.00 for gearbox and engine.. i have the lume, tail shaft and many other parts as it all come out of my 200b.. the 200b body is also for sale or it ends up at a wrecker's if you come get the body of the 200b its your's for free..

I would happily swap all of this for another A15 so if the unfortunate time comes and my A15 dies completely i can still continue on..

What sort of price would the package cost? Would be a great unit for a 12 Hundy.

With the oil filter on those early blocks its hard to get them sitting low in the engine bay.

You mean it needs a lot of careful fab work? Or is this why people for the L20b?

Use a Z37 oil filter & it gives you a little more room. Thats what I used on the L18 in my Sunny coupe & it never leaked a drop. Plus I've bought a box of 12 of them. Or you could use a Z145. These are bigger than the standard SR20DE filter, which I used on my A15's, though it was a K&N made filter. The local Repco had bought a dozen of them & I eventually used them all.

Hey chris (clayons8) asking for $700 for the engine and gearbox as they are ready to just drop in and go (unless of course you want to go ahead and upgrade the whole thing) or as said swap it for something of equal value i.e A15 parts

Could try work out postage to you if your interested..

I want to see someone use it for a 1200 swap would be a great swap

Those webers - what 'type' are they - dcoe 9 , or dcoe 13, or something else (it'll be stamped on em)??

If they are dcoe 9s I'd be able to work out an a15 deal - I've got a few of em!
