As the title states i need to find a starter motor for my a12 with a manual box behind it. At this point not fussed on location and desperate for qhatever is availabe a starter in adelaide would be the best though.

A12/14/15 starters are the same. Can use AT starter on MT and vice-versa

thought so.. as i did a manual conversion my 120y and never changed the starter. Like i said happy with whatever is out there.. over push starting everywhere! haha

I have a feeling their is 2 different types of s.motors, but I'm not 100% sure. I have a few here in Sydney which I can post but not till next Saturday. What is a second hand s.motor worth??

There are six types. They are all interchangeable except the two reduction gear types are only guaranteed to fit in 1978 and newer vehicles.

the cheapest one i could find was $130.. u pull it a self serve wteckers here would charge $30 but they dont have a single a series engine between their three yards.
