I have my beloved beauty on offer, its driven daily atm
Shes 46,850 miles and 44 years old, older restoration just to make her more pleasant & safe without losing that old charm or period feel.
Has been re-wired to hide all wiring from the bay this removes all the clutter to make a very cleanor A series engine only look.
New 55amp alternator with internal regulator and fan electricity cut our security switch/key for extra security
New AGM 670cca battery relocated in the rear next to spare wheel
988cc original donk with new head gasket for extra security including slightly shaved head, mild cam of unknown specs
interior is clad with re-upholtered seats with head rest of a period design to suit its age, front door skins redone but yet to put speaker holes in them.
Dash had one small crack but redone with double stitched design covering to hide it after vynil welding it up for smooth base now looks better than original, all gauges cleaned oiled,
alot of work right around replacing all screws and nuts for quality stainless steel ones throughtout.
Radio not wired but awesome working dry stored for 30 years from Nissan Cedric from Japan I sourced a while back AM/FM
Mirrors are quality items from Japan peeps know how pricey these are
Rear vision mirror is bigger, dual mode for high beams
Brand new electronic distributor with hidden coil/wiring mounting on engine oil pump housing very clean.
New jts headers painted in heat proof matt black with new exhaust system throughout 1 3/8 inch to 2 inches to suit bigger or turbo
New cores for radiator, heater, new water pump, fuses under the dash where they should be to keep engine bay clean.
New Sigma rotors, calipers disk brake conversion to eliminate those pesky drums that lock at a bees fart fits 13 inch and up stops now like ABS with no locking 1200kg brakes on 675kg 1000
Steering wheel is unique custom modified/made item from Triumph Stag unlike other 3 spokes this one had top 2 spokes horizontal perfect view of guages unlike other 3 spoke design like motolita and jdm Nardi brands
New master cylinder 11/16 no booster required stops beautifully no locking
New H4 headlights to eliminate the candle light sealed beams
Excellent original dual speed wiper motor and new silicon wipers excellent in rain
1967 corona 13 inch steelies clad with new Goodyear 165/65/13 GT3 rubber Ready for hubbies, chrome outer lips or dog bowls, very nice as is with chrome nuts, also have new Atlas whitewall flappers to suit.
Lots more done to here I cant recall right now but originality is kept with just mild upgrades to make her keep up with traffic
Paint is about 20 years old in 2 pack but would be good with another once over, she is completely rust free and can be left as is with many onlookers and smiles from every angle. However a few little dents and imperfections would be best for someone wanting to paint her if that show finish is wanted.
I was going to upgrade the engine but it drives so well has perfect handling and contemplated a supercharger SU only upgrade at one stage yet love the economy and sound or the extra revvs.
Basically all hard work done with about 500-600hours spent detailing, sourcing and buying the right bits so ready to enjoy Most peeps know how anal I am by now and this car shows it with my choice of parts and finish.
She cruises easily at 70 miles an hour without excessive noise due to the 59mm stroke and is a pleasure for country drives
