Hi,

I've got my ca to idle nicely at 900rpm.
However while driving and pulling up to a stop or slowing down (depressing the clutch) the idle sits at 1100 or 1200rpm.
It then settles back down to 900rpm after a short while.
Is this normal? Timing good, tps good. idle screw fine and no vac leaks.

Can live with it but just annoying

You will have to provide more info.
Is the idle speed control valve connected? What ECU (standard or aftermarket)? Is the car up to temperature when it happens? Any other engine mods that might stuff with the ECU. Injectors. AFM. Etc. all these things can play a roll in how the car settles at idle.
