Thought it was about time I put up a link to my 1200 ute build.
I am posting all the photos on instagram. Can not be bothered to upload them all.
Please search bagged_datto_project on instagram and come back and post all your feed back on here.

Basic outline of the project:
Datsun 1200 ute
Completely shaved (shaved tailgate, door handles, mirrors, locks, fuel cap, cowling, windscreen wipers, indicators and antenna)
New tray sides and floor
New flat rear cabin wall
New flat custom floor
New custom firewall
All guttering removed and welded up
Removed rear chassis and 12 inch custom notch made and installed
New rear quarters
Sill lip removed and seam welded
Completely new chassis rail front clip made to be supported by a full roll cage
13b rotor and box being installed and completely custom mounted
20 x 10 rear wheels with a shortened hilux diff
And just waiting for my 4 link and my bags to show up from America.

This is as far as I have gotten so far.
Lots more to come.
Please follow me on instagram and post your comments on here.
Not everyone's cup of tea I know but this is my dream build so keep the negativity to yourself if you have any.
All work has been completed by myself. I'm not a professional in anyway but wanted to build a car from scratch by myself. I have taught myself everything as I have built it.
Tom

No idea if that's genuine or just plain sarcasm

Linky for people bagged_datto_project

20" rims are a killer for me personally, would look so rad on some 13"-14" but that's just my background haha.

Props for the effort, fab looks nice.

Thanks champ. As I said it's not going to be everyone's cup of tea.
I'm building it for myself.
Thanks for throwing up that link champ ;)

You've done a really great job even just getting this far. Love all the fab work. I look forward to seeing it finished even if I'm not so keen on 20's!

Thanks Flatto. I have put a lot of hours into the truck over the last 6 months.
I knew it wouldn't go down too well with the die hard datto fans but it's meant to be different.
When I can work out how to upload pics from my phone to the site I will keep everyone updated with the build on here as well.
