ok just a quick question, i was given a h160 diff from a man, it has a 3.7:1 ratio and it looks to have all the same mounts as my sunny. did the 2nd type of sunny come with a h160? or maybe a wagon? anyone know?
thanks Noel

No, the Sunny didnt but the Stanza did...they share the same floorpan. The Sunny diff is a H150 and the Stanza is a H160. The Sunny also shares the same X-member bar the engine mounts and the Struts are the same as the Stanza too bar the brakes....
Hime Sunny very goot car him...

Yep...probably an extra 50mm track (thats a good advantage) and you may have to modify the tailshaft yoke fitting, but the mounting points are all the same. You get bigger brakes on the H160...its also an easy conversion to fit Pintara R31 rear disk assys onto these housings as well.
Also the 200B GX disks and Girlock calipers will fit on the front too for extra stopping power

like converted said you might find the tail shaft wont bolt up the pinion flange is different on some models. I've been looking for one of these up here for a while (getting scarce)
will the r31 disk brakes fit up to the 145 or only the 165

the tailshaft flange is identical to the one on the stanza diff, so im in luck:D, and even better after i striped the diff down, its got new brake cyl, bearings and brake shoes.
