My Coupe won "Best Other Datsun." I know that doesn't sound so hot, but so few showable 1200's does not merit a separate category here. Oh yeah, check out my newly installed front spoiler.

The spoiler was $55 U.S., and I bought it from a guy on eBay. Yeah, the spoiler is definitely a SoCal thing. I do like the looks of it, and it helps hide the tow brackets, too.

The roll bar (sorry, not a cage) was about $175 U.S., and came with removable cross brace and camcorder mount.

Funny story, the shop that sells 'em hadn't made one for a 1200 in about 20 years, and since then, the jigs were piled up in storage. No suprise, the first bar we got was meant for another vehicle. The shop did get it right the second time, thankfully.

Is that spoiler intended for a 1200? Just curious because I picked up a spoiler that looks uncannily similar but it doesn't seem to match up to the body unless I bring the bottom forard quite a bit like the one in your photo. Also seems to be a little too short. (mine) Just wondering what company made it if you know too.

Yes, this is a 1200 spoiler. I believe mine was molded after the original BRE (Brock Racing Enterprises) item. It was sitting in a Los Angeles warehouse for 30 years. Where did you pick yours up? If it's JDM, then I would say it's different unless they got ahold of one like mine and copied it. It does need to be brought forward to fit snugly, but it sits exactly flat on the bottom when viewed from the side.

Cool thanks for the help. I bought it from an american that's been here for quite a while (in mainland japan) and maybe I can get mine to fit like yours by turning it out. The closer I look at it I think it's the same design/mold. My trucks sitting too tall in the front right now with the motor out to visualize how it will look.
