I don't think I've told you guys yet. The last round of the State Champs two weeks ago was won by Steve Draheim in his CA18DET 1200 coupe. Steve took 2 race wins and 2 second places, and recorded fastest lap in each race!

natsoft race results

Steve's basically got this year's QIPRA Club Championship sewn up, and is very much in the running for the State Championship with just one round to go. Not bad at all for a class that has always been dominated by Rotaries!

Go Steve!!! bye the looks of his times he was close to win all 4 races.
He must have the car well sorted to give them rotaries a run for there money. The day I was at oran park they where pretty damn quick?? does wayne wakefeild run his wagon up there much??? that car is a missile.Mind you the amount of money he has spent on it it should be too.

Wayne hasn't run the series for a few years now. He just wheels the car out for the nationals each year. It's owned by someone else these days - Laird I think? He sure is fast hey? Not particularly clean in traffic, but very quick.

Oh, and Peddler, there seems to be another 1200 rocket in SA IPRA racing, this time with an SR20DET. Scroll through this and look for Adam Allan.
