Okay, I never thought i'd be doing this a few months ago but times are a changin, and the motivation for finishing the dato and doing some track days/getting it registered is dwindling..
I hope someone else with the vision i had comes along and can finish it off, cos it will be a fun car!

Will sell the L series conversion and associated gear seperate if someone is interested.. Or will sell the shell seperate if someone is keen on just that. I'm sure a deal can be made somewhere :)

The details are:
-1973 (i think) 1200 coupe
There is some rust in the sills and the rear quarters, its no show car :) I was planning on probably replacing the sills and just repairing the rear quarters and then giving it a quick lick of paint. Perfect for someone whos just after a race or rally car or maybe someone who's good with bodywork.

-Modified engine crossmember to take L series
-L20B engine (good condition)
-5 speed stanza gearbox & crossmember to suit
-Heavy Duty Clutch
-1200 Ute Diff (H165) with locked 4.6 centre (also have an open 3.9 centre to go with the car)
-Profesionally reset and stiffened rear springs with brand new poly bushes
-Big radiator to suit
-Engine has electronic dizzy, alternator and starter but no carby.
-Comes with Stanza lower control arms and castor rods with brand new poly bushes
-120Y swaybar with new poly bushes.
-lotsa spares
-all the stuff i've forgotten

The engine and box aren't in the car as yet, and the hydraulic clutch still needs to be installed.. Other than that, the engine crossmember is in and the rear end is finished. Except for the clutch mods its really a bolt in project - too easy!


At this stage i would like to hang onto the wheels, so the car will be sold with some steelies on it.

It doesn't look like much in the photos but the value is in all the mechanicals.. I don't care if someone buys the car just to put the good bits into a better shell - whatever! just hope whoever buys it actually finishes it :)

oops - forgot to add, it's an auto shell so it has a nice big tunnel for conversions :) It has already got a manual pedal box too..
