just bought a 12a rotary and 5 speed gearbox +turbo for $50 does any 1 know of any places that i can get it rebuilt and about how much it would be is there any won else that has done this pics up soon

In sydney there are some very good rotary fellas that do an awesome job like pac peformance they did my bros rx4 it wasn't to dear for wat they did but if u go on yellow pages or net you can try and find a place that is closer im sure any engine specialist could do it.

Nice buying , I had a couple of RX2 coupes 20 odd years ago and I was bitten by the bug bad, nothing compares to the linear acceleration of a hot rotary.

thnks sidey kind of lost interest in my datto for a while but theres a 1200 coupe in wollongong im looking at no motor or box but really straght and 99% rust free

im gonna change this to my datto build thread heres my idea
a12 block a14 pistons and crank
big cam unsure off specs
shave the top off the head and boloch to make the compression higher blue printed
turbo
efi

also what pistons are you planing on running
and why would you want to raise the compression in a turbo motor you want it lower like 8:1

but im gonna do the a12 up first and when i find another car ill put the 12a rotary in that to get registed

yer the rotary turns over and every thing but im gonna rebuild it any way

and reasopn for higher the compression i did it on my moto and it goes twice as hard but u run 2 head gaskets only taking abit off
