Thermal
1. Does it screw in?
2. Is it the same electrical specs?
3. You'll have to change the wire end to the Toyo spade end. Datsun wire ends are bullet/bayonet type

Why don't you just get the Nissan nut?

The temperature sender for different petrol engines varies in resistance. Even some Datsun senders will not match the 1200 resistance range.

That being said it may work just fine.

Be very very careful when installing non Genuine Nissan Thermal Transmitter, I went thru hell because of this. Read this thread: http://datsun1200.com/modules/newbb/v ... id=294908#forumpost294908

At the end the Radiator is the best thing that I could do to the Ute, but the non Genuine Thermal Transmitter is a big no no in my books.
