Looking for the venturi that sits down in the throat of the carb, if anyone has one spare that'd be much appreciated, will happily pay what you want for it. I need one urgently, I'm hoping someone here has one spare. Not exactly an easy part to find when you're in a hurry though.

I have used aux vents from a Weber 34adm [from ford 4.1's] in 32/36 dgv's before. They fit with very little mods required, I little filing, thats it. While you are at it, you can improve the shape of the Aux vent for improved flow. I learnt these mods while observing Formula Ford builds.

You can use the falcon ones as benny has suggested but I dont
know what garble he is talking about in terms of improvements but
would sure love to know!!! sounds like insider secrets!.
Its one of my favorite carbs for simplicity, boost in performance
and economy all in one. I used to get 32-40 mpg in a pinto esky
years ago with higher compression, Fjord four longer duration
camshaft, electronic ignition and custom extractors.
Sometimes the mechanical secondary doesnt open all the way in some
older ones but when you rectify this you get to see why so many people
love and swear by this carb. Im sure with a better offenhauser style
styled manifold like avail. for the L series would be the bees neez.

I too, like the Weber 32/36 [DGV-5a manual choke version] as it has alot of potential. The formula ford guys have had to use this carb type for decades now, and have developed many subtle mods to enhance its performance. Particular attention in the areas of Aux vent shaping and power valve function [located under the top cover]. Weber also manufacture alternate livkage kits to alter the a-synchronous fuction. Basically the secondary throat opens earlier.

who needs fuel injection with this baby :))
