Hi guys I don't need to say this but great site for us and all of you do a great job, are there many NZ members and if so is there a way we can be grouped????? its getting hard to find datsun parts and the datsun NZ web site has closed down, so to find parts form other datsun owners is hard. thanks oldatsss

use www.nzdatsun.com/forums , it is far more active than DOCNZ was, and was part of the reason Glen gave up on DOCNZ.

Yeah NZdatsun.com is where it's at for datto's in NZ. We're an actual club, who are a real legal entity.

where you heading Revhead? The local datto fiends always like to put on a get together/garage tour for overseas folk who visit here. Although the vast majority are centered around Christchurch.

I'll be flying in on the 3rd of Jan and staying in Christchurch for the first 2 nights. I wouldn't mind meeting up at a pub or something like that. The first day I'll be buggered, we arrive at 5am.

Jump on NZdatsun.com forum and post up a thread on there and something will get organised. Doesnt take much to convince us to drink beer and talk datsuns

Was the old content on datsun.co.nz copied to the new site nzdatsun.com? If not was an archive made?

I don't know if anyone took the whole lot or not. Relations with the webmaster of the old site became somewhat strained after he mismanaged the site, and it went down for almost half a year. In it's absence a new (Supposed to be temporary) site was set up to help every one keep in touch. His (Then) partner (Now wife) went off the deep end and abused the guy who set up the site by email and MSN to the point where he had to block her. In the time that followed NZdatsun took over as the more dominant site. Glen and goergie have since sold up and moved to Aussie. It's kinda sad really. When I 1st met Glen he had an almost unrivaled passion for datsuns. But as time wore on he seemed to lose it.
