The following tables list the servicing required to keep your car operating at peak mechanical condition, and should be attended to as indicated, preferably by and authorized DATSUN DEALER.

Under Hood Maintenance Schedule
Every Three Months

* Tune-up items every 3 months * Change engine oil (& filter every other time) every 6 months * Adjust intake & exhaust valve clearances * Check drive belt tension * Replace oil filter * Check oil system for leaks every 2 years * Retighten cylinder head bolts * Retighten manifold & carburetor bolts * Check engine compression
Cooling System * Change engine water every 6 months OR * Change long-life engine coolant every 2 years * Check cooling system hoses & connections every 12 months
