Race prepped rods.
Enlarged oil holes,lightened etc etc
Floating pins.
Bought these from japan as a set already balanced with modified crank and Tomei bigger displacement pistons.They were going into a spare competition engine when i intercepted them:) |

Number "7" cast on the a12t head.No idea if it has any meaning to it.

A12t head on the front, a12 gx5 head at the back.
Please note: The gx5 head isn't stock and doesn't have stock valve sizes.
A12T and A12Gx5 both have double valve springs and same size valves if both stock. |

You will notice an extra "bolt hole" on the a12t.Pardon my terminalogy of "bolt hole". |

This 5-speed has:
* no overdrive
* 4th is regular meshed gears
* 5th is direct drive
* "Nn" is the input gear pair
.. n: main drive gear
.. N: counter driven gear

Compared to 4-speed:
* 1st gear is bolted on instead of reverse gear
* Gears 1-3 are re-purposed as 2-4
* top gear is still direct drive (no gears) |

Opened up a few gearboxes i have.Some spares, some not installed.
Interesting find...My Nismo F5C56A has wider and larger gears than this gearbox.....
Will try and post up comparison pics when i get a chance by end of the week. |

| Rocker cover looks identical to Gx Rocker cover so can only assume this head was from the rwd variant and not its fwd variant. |
