This is a local engine that uses a
Similar setup but has the carbs laid as a true sidedraught [horizontal mounting] The brace is to prevent carb movement on the rubber mounts & the air filter is a Mazda item with a couple of flat aluminium plates. There is no interference between the air filter & the suspension tower. Being a right drive car certainly is an advantage in this case.
It runs amazingly well & cost a lot less than Webbers.
