yes,is that diff a h150 or a h165.i love to get my hands on one for the sunny (210) here.my old 1200 wagon with the a14,5 speed & a 3.7 diff ratio proved it had more than enough power to pull an even taller ratio.maybe we could swap some 4.9's or something.

according to this service manual for US and Canada... the US, non California, 2dr sedan with A15... is the only A15 model available with a 5spd. (PLB310RSFU)
It has an H150A diff.
All the other A15 models have the 3N71B automatic with an H150 diff.

I was really hoping it'd turn out to be a h165.oh well,what diff ratios came in the american 1600,which we got as the a10 stanza.

I was surprised to see that the 1980 A12A uses the same transmission type as the 1971-1973 1200 -- the F4W56A

Also surprised that the A15 vehicles used a 3.513 differential ratio. I had one but let it go ...
