Bathurst Hillclimb Sunday 7 August. This machine was the sole 1200 present. Didn't catch up with the owner but it sounded like a-series powered. Datsun Owners Club had about 8 260z's and 240z's at the event.

5 bonnet pins, I wonder by looking at those flared fenders and front lip if the whole front pulls away and it's a tubes chassis front end??

doesn't look like it - bonnet and bumper appear to be seperate parts, as does the spoiler - you can see the fasteners where the spoiler joins the gaurd at the flare.

 Re: Bathurst Hillclimb
Didn't get any times on it but was later told (unconfirmed) that it was running mid 29 second runs. Don't know how true that is, but in any case it sounded pretty strong.

 Re: Bathurst Hillclimb
mid 29s is bloody quick for an A series 1200 best i ever ran with A series was mid 31s back in 1998 and 29.5 in 1999 with stock ca18 setup.
Aiming for mid to low 28's with new setup Still a long way off the over 3000 sports sedans running 25-26's
