1200 Rallycar...It is quite easy to do a wheel alignment without the elaborate setup you see at Jax Tyres or Beaurepairs etc. In Formula Ford it is desireable to do a wheel align after setup changes but not necessary. All it takes is a clamp to fit on the rims of the front and back wheels and a string to determine by the use of a rule to see how far the front wheels are out in comparison to the back ones.

Yeah, actually l did the design using Pro Engineer. Which could easily be considered one of the best cad packages, along with ideas and unigraphix.

I tried to post the pics, but it never works for me!!!

I tried to make it simple to machine, but l also wanted it to be really durable. For this reason it is slightly over engineered, but l like it better this way.

If l find my notes, l'll be able to tell you the amount of camber and castor it allows. They were pretty extreme amounts!!

Where can this "clamp" be purchased? Any more details on this, like a photo?

is it true what they say???

i was told that everytime you make adjustments to the suspension you really should go and get a wheel alignment to make sure everything is matched up and stuff? do people actually do this or is this just "ideal"
