 Re: injection
I scored one of these manifolds at a garage sale. It's now on my a14 turbo. I had to file notches in the ports to match the injectors. Not sure if it was a good idea but it works

 Re: injection
it's the same injection manifold as i have, from an a15 sunny model (b310).it definitely needs an oval port head, but the gx head you have (i seem to remember) will be perfect.grab it quick.then run it with an aftermarket computer like a microtech,& piss off all the pollution #### you don't need.once again, get this one now,& dont even hint to the buyer how rare it is.

ive told him to send it my way!

there is a delco 808 computer and loom for $250 for sale (described as fully programable), is this a good computer for this, also considering i may use this for a turbo setup? what do you think about that

This is probably premature, but I have just been given a contact with a company who sells Nissan forklifts. I plan to skip work one of these days and head over to have a look around. If I can buy new FI manifolds, you will be the first to know!

 Re: injection
Are we sure this is for A series Nissan? - I only ask because the stud wholes on the manifold don't look in the right place - I seam to rememeber the studs being in the centre towards to top of the manifold, but have nothing to it check against here.

 Re: injection
yes,the early 1200's had two studs per inlet manifold, then, probably in the interests of economics, they went to a single centre stud.most a14/a15's still had the two studs, however.some heads had provision for both.also, the delco computer is ok,but you need to find someone with calmaker software to reprogram the computer.this shouldn't be so hard to find, however.basically,it's a holden computer.

On having a second look its abit like the injection setup on the red toyota supercharged A series 1200 ute. Though the pic I have of that ute is abit blurry.
A friend of mine runs an A12 with injection and turbo using the Camira delco computer. If that helps.

Anyone have access to the part # for the manifold itself?

thanks heaps for pointing those out

i just got an email to say the manifold has been posted

IM SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW

dont tell anyone but, he said his mate who got this manifold from japan is going back next week and will grab another for me if he finds one, though he said hes only seen that one. im thinking maybe i should give him some incentive

 Re: injection
im a bit late to this but this manifold is round port but will need oval port to clear the inj path thats all. Mammi motors who built dattomans 1000 said to me they have one with a slight crack on the manifold. I offered to get it fixed if I buy it but they said it doesnt flow as well as twin webers in NA form but turbo is a different story.
By the way twin turbo chargers theoretically wouldnt have good scope for big hp upgrades as seen in supra engines. Turbo and supercharger setups are even worse. However the new variable turbos in zoom magazine coming into new nissans will rule the world for single snail setups even further.

 Re: injection
I'll have one of those colour pics please
And if he has another setup for $250 I'll be interested in that too.
It would go great on my supercharged engine I'll build if I get a supercharger.
Or the twin turbocharged engine if I use them.
or better yet a twin turbo supercharged injected engine. Now we're talking.
Its obviously a factory injection system from something. Can you find out what its off ?.
Its not the same injection system I used to have and stupidly burried in a padock somewhere cause I couldn't use it at the time and couldn't be bothered storing it.

You would need an oval port head so the injectors are not shrouded.

he wrote that in email to me, i think that means its oval and if i put it on round port the manifold hole will be partially blocked, or am i confused?

he also said its from japan

 Re: injection
To me it definitely looks like oval-ports, but the injector bosses intrude into the oval? This has the same bolting pattern as the Vanette A15 manifold.

 Re: injection
wow, ya learn something new every day.

I've only ever played with A12 & A12A's and can only remember the centre stud mounting system. Perhaps the centre stud verison is what was realeased in NZ, after all we didn't see any new A13's at all (only the odd one ex USA).

 Re: injection
mmmm, i know what you mean

but im thinking theres a lot of improvent to be done in my driving style

and the front suspension (particular camber) and brake bias of the car

before i worry bout wheter the engine is holding me back

still, ahhh crap i dunno

maybe i should use inj for road car then improve susp and brakes on rally car, then when i go to CA on road car use inj for rally

hmmm, when i write how i think it gets pretty jummbled, scary

1200RC, I was going to make an exchange rate joke and offer to buy it for that price, but I'll refrain. Congratulations on the find.

Now for the rest of you, I went to the Nissan forklift dealer yesterday. Bad news. ALL of their books show the A-15 forklift engine as having a one barrel carburetor. The interesting thing is the manifold looks to be considerably longer than astandard A-series intake. This might help with bottom end torque, but I don't think I'm ready to do that experiment yet.

 Re: injection
1200rallycar, put it on your street car, drive it daily, work the problems out ... then when it's running great, switch it over the rally car. It won't take you long to retune it for racing after you've become familiar with how it works.

 Re: injection
why dont you put on a fuel only computer and that way it would be cheeper and you could program it your self, and fiddle around with it.
I tryed to get the pic of it through your email but it would not come through?
