1982 Datsun 210 Wagon Datsun210 2004/2/13 4:47 Tell a friend 5646 3 0.00 (0 votes)
This is my 1982 Datsun 210. Sadly it burns a quart of oil ever 50 miles, and I don't want to replace the engine. But I plan to drive it 'til it dies. |

Re: 1982 Datsun 210 Wagon If this car 'burned' a [US] quart [.94635 L] in 50 miles [80.465k] it would have a trail of smoke behind it that would rival a steam locomotive at full throttle. It would need 2 stroke lawnmower plugs to burn off the oil & even then it would foul plugs. The back of the whole car would be black with oil
For that kind of oil consumption it must be leaking it somethin fierce. I wonder what happened to it.

Re: 1982 Datsun 210 Wagon With the price of oil these days, it's worth fixing.
Or is it? I'm paying the same for motor oil today that I did 20 years ago.
