I pulled the 240RS works housing apart to check all was well inside. I will change oil and put it back together for another 3 years.

I've just about figured it out, but I need some help.
There are three different offsets for the CWP's. There are two different offsets in the carriers..
I only have two different offsets in my selection of LSD's..
It appears that the 3.7, 3.9, 4.1 and 4.4 CWP use the LSD with the most offset. These are the big pinion bearing CWP's.
The 4.9,5.1 and 5.4 CWP use the LSD with the least offset. These are also big pinion bearing CWP's.
The common 4.6CWP and alloy carrier you get out of 620utes, c20vans and the like use a small pinion bearing, an alloy carrier with a different offset, and the CWP itself is a totally different offset to the other CWP's.
So, do the proper motorsport 4.6 CWP's use the big pinion bearings? if so, there must be another, big bearing alloy carrier available.
Is the offset of the works 4.6 the same as either of the other ratio sets? (I suspect not, although I cant read japanese, it's starting to look like the brochure tells me that the 4.6 is the standard ratio for the 240 and uses the oddball offset)
All of which is bloody annoying, as I have to machine offset out of the back of the 4.6 crownwheel to make it all work with the steel slipperys at the moment, and, I'm stuck with the small pinion shaft and bearings, which I will doubtless break.

Can anyone tell me if there's an LSD unit with a 3rd offset to suit the 4.6 that I'm missing??? (eg, how does the one in this photo work?)
