Thanks. Yeah its great driving a 1200 everyday. I do feel a little guilty driving this one all the time but sometimes. Just working the clock around.

almost perfect, just needs the exhaust to be shorter and have the chrome insert in the rear window rubber

but i guess it is a daily so it cant be absolutely perfect

Re: Old school sedan (new hubbies)
Thanks again.
Nah the other one getting a different motor lol. This baby just the cruiser.

The tyres are 14inch 185/60s on 200b rims. Best fitting wheels ive ever had on it. Sit them next to the 175/70 r13s which i had scrub issues with and they are quite abit bigger. I thought id have some scrub issues but ive had absolute nothing. In all circumstances. Unmolested guards too. The offset sits them as close it the strut as possible and on the back they sit dead centre. All i can say is they must be perfect offset.

The hubcaps were on a 1960 chev belair. Dont know if thats exactly what there off. Pitty the chev logo on the centre of the caps isnt datsun.

Yep, nice look.

It is interesting how our South African friend appreciates that 1200s in this condition still exist. It is a very cute little car.

It's kind of a shame to see a car in this good of condition being used as a daily driver. So many people get involved in accidents that aren't their fault.

Good work all the same.

You can get a whitewall stripe carved into the sidewall in Sydney (Maybe up in Brisbane too?). That would better match the whitewalls on 1200s from the time they were released.

Great idea, it looks very nice. What was the 200b called in the US?

Finally achieved the look i wanted out of this car. Its just my daily and i wanted it to have the old school retro look. Grandpa style. She sits alot lower now too. All four corners fully replaced. Bushes, springs, shocks and finally twin master disc brake front

Thanks guys. Yeah whitewalls are still on the cards. I went to get them but couldnt find any in the correct profile. All too high, to suit old holden fords etc.
