yup, this wud be her.
And yes the ports have been raised quite significantly. The bottoms havnt been welded but i think the tops ported out to move centre of port up. They truely are huge.

 Down-port head?
Sorry to bring up an old post but this one caught my eye on the homepage.

Cheater - is this the ex Reg Cook head on TradeMe? That is some serious down-porting! I'm trying to work out how it was done because the bottoms of the of the ports appear to have been raised significantly (welded?) or was this a special casting?

More to the point, How do tou keep the inlet from leaking. It looks like there is only about 1mm at the top for a gasket!

I was having trouble with that. I ended up getting a very large port tomei gasket from japan which wasnt very expensive at all. I have to make a hole for the locating pin but otherwise a pretty dam good fit.
