From "USA & Canada" parts book

I see two things missing from this car...can you name them?

This one too David. We know that the two images are of JDM cars with the pictures reversed to make them appear as LHD cars for use in the US & Canada parts book, & there are quite a number of discrepancies, but what was it that you spotted.

Put us all out of our misery.

I was thinking of these, but it was too easy for Dman:
1. Coupe side vent covers (chrome trim)
2. Rear side lamp

There should also be two rubbers on the bumper (as mentioned), and a chrome strip on the rocker panel. Nobody mentioned that I think.

Tyrie, my 1200 didn't have a passenger seat That was because I used it for a delivery vehicle. Did you know a 1200 can carry 1000 pounds of cargo plus the driver? And it weighs only 1600 pounds itself.

Photoshop ... in 1970?

I think can see the chrome strip on the rocker/sill panel in the picture. It's fairly narrow, but there. Did US models use a larger, wider one?

Clearly, the factory intends these images to be 'representative' of what a 1200 looked like as the inacuracies relating to specific models are just too many & glaring.

The external fittings over the two vents on the side panel just behind the door.

The light on the same side panel back near the tail light area. These were not used on Jap spec & Aussie cars, but were used on North American models.

The front fender side light is Jap spec too. The US model uses a bigger, less attractive one.

I didn't think that external mirrors were 'standard' fitment on US models, but instead, an option, or an accessory part. That's why I didn't include them.

Yes, driver's side mirror is standard, due to FMVSS safety regulations.

I'm still not convinced, in the sedan pic you can see it all the way long, but on the coupe it looks like you can see the little edge that the trim goes over, and there's no shiny reflective bits like on the trim thats under the grille...
