This would have to be the sweetest CA18 transplant into a 1200 I have seen yet, with a larger turbo and CA16 cams it runs 10 second 1/4 miles! It joined us on the latest QPDC cruise.

what advantage would be acheaved from having the ca16 cam on it i would think it would hinder as its desighned for a 1.6 not a 1.8 as the ca18 is but then again im not mechanicaly minded a lot so there must be an advantage from having it on there

The CA16 cams give more lift and duration, means more air and fuel, more power!

As to your question on CA18DET in the other post...

This is one hell of a conversion, is it a home job or what. Got any more info at all?
