Re: New Dyno Run Still looks like a nice fat curve and not to peaky. I can only image that it feels like its pulling the whole rev range.

Re: New Dyno Run yes pretty happy, starting at 75hp at 3500 and going up to 99hp at 7500 and with lots of torque. all good. can wait for the ARC Forest rally in 2 weeks. but i am still amazed at how much better the torque is with the smaller exhaust, it is like a different car.

Re: New Dyno Run In this photo you can see i had fairly short secondaries into a 2.5" collector. then machine bent 2.5" pipe into a magnaflow 2.5" stainless muffler then 2.5" machine bent over the diff and out. but the machine press bending causing it to be crushed a little this can have an effect on gas velocity. and i think might have caused the flat spot in the middle of the torque curve.
So I lengthened the secondary

Re: New Dyno Run I made them myself, bought a whole bunch of mandrel bends and 3 days of trial and error. i was trying to get all primarys all the same lenght and i think i got pretty close.

Re: New Dyno Run Ahhhh, the Tri Y design is always a good choice & seems to give a noticeably flatter torque curve than other tuned length types. This is why they are also good for the street. Sometimes it's better to lose a little peak output in exchange for a wider & more usefull torque range. Nice bling too.

Re: New Dyno Run Good horsepower but very nice power curve from a short-rod A14. Well done!
