Nissan part showing the flame arrester in it.
Better than the band-aided old one!

Thanks dd,

Do you know what "H19" designates? I used a 11826-H1900 which now shows NLA through Nissan. Hey you know more about Nissan parts than me and I've been selling them for 25 years.....want to come live and work in the desert? Thanks for the faq deal but I think I need to load a different photo deal on the puter

Yes, H19 is B110U (USA), B110N (Canada).

11826-H1900 was the original part number as listed in my USA parts catalog, 0674 revision. But is also lists 11826-H3900 (the one in the photo) as superceding H1900 from 0771.

If you have Windows, the built-in Paint program will work to resize photos down to web-size (say 480 pixels wide).

dd,
Are you state side? If so, do you have the part #? Got one about a year ago and don't think it had the arrester in it. BTW...I'm a nubie to the site....."72 coupe given to me about a year and a half ago...tried to post a pic yesterday, got the mime error will try again soon.

Yes, I'm in Seattle, USA, home of the Space Needle and center of Datsun 1200 2-dr Land.

It is Nissan Part Number 11826-H3900.
Perhaps the original 1970 part (braided hose) didn't have the pipe cleaner insert? In any case this new smooth-skin hose fits perfectly. H39 indicates "LB110TRU" which indicates design for USA Export model.

flames from the crank breather?
Maybe it's the other end that worries? Remember that fuel fumes are stored in the crankcase of a 1200 when the engine is off (in EVAPO fume control models). This hose connects to the air cleaner. When starting, a backfire from the carburetor might ignite these fumes, but traditionally the paper air clean acts as an arrestor. Then on B210 models with an air pump there is risk of backfire damaging the pump.
