Mine had the same steering wheel wrapper when I bought it in 2003 .... yuck

hehe yeah thats already gone.

i pulled the wheel apart to investigate why the horn wasnt working, and the plastic insert on the wheel just started flaking away it was so brittle.

so i dug the original ute wheel out from the shed (i knew i kept that for a reason! )

horn works too now!
