Re: Offenhauser 4bbl manifold and 390 holley You might be better off switching to center hung float bowls. The gas sloshing back in the bowls when you're accelerating, and effecting the float levels. On a V8 the carb sits the other way around, so the floats aren't effected in this way. Also keep an eye out for accelerator pump nozzle dribble.

Re: Offenhauser 4bbl manifold and 390 holley Not your garden variety intake setup. Just doing my part for growing petrol prices.
I have some of the cool parts to start the 80's Panelvan now. I have two 14 x 7 inch 5 slots for the rearand 14 x 6 for the front. The intake setup. A SC14 supercharger. A 3.7:1 BW68 gearset and the locker from the shed. Heaps of other stuff also but now I think I will wory about the body later and start assembling the van then do the body later.
