most distinctive feature may be the rocker cover -- it actually has the engine size on it unlike any other A-series cover. The engine in this photo is serial number B10-1054xx. |

 Re: A10 Engine, right side While the cylinder head is completely interchangeable with the 1200, the hole for the heater hose fitting at the back of the head is in a slightly different position. Something to be aware of when swaping a 1200 engine into a B10 car.
Note the cast pad halfway along the gasket line on this side of the engine. This is where the head was horizontally drilled to provide an oil passage for rocker oiling. It's unique to the A10 & 1200 engines.
