Hmmmmm, if the AY12 heads eventually materialise, then a low profile ignition setup will be required. This could be a solution if one was prepared to mix a little newer technology in with the old school engine bay.

Very nice, anyone got any specs on the bottom end for this engine? Is the owner a member in this forum? would like to know specs and have him explain himself

I think from the one thread frank posted, he said it's the CAS of a CA18, but modded onto the top of an A series dizzy...

correct me if i'm wrong, but isn't this the 230-odd horsepower A-series? i think i've seen photos of this car from Jake(frankthedolphintrainer) it looks as hard as it goes i bet!!!

Last time i heard he was having trouble keeping gearboxes up to it.

mmm just that i wanted to see, so thats quad coils and is that a CAS i see where the dizzy cap used to be?

want more info...now

What is that CAS from? looks similar to a CA18? or is it a custom/aftermarket job?
