This is my old 1200. Someone though my car needed a 2001 Dodge Dakota mounted on the right fender. I don't mean to freak anyone out with this pic. It sets the scene for the next 2.
RICLAGE, note the drier hose on the rad. support.

 Re: Smashed 1200
Hello there Angelo

I am sorry for the Datto...

It is incredible, the GIZMO I has talking is mounted at the same spot. However I am using a hose with less diameter, and that is a thing that i need to upgrade. Truely speaking, I used a smaller hose so I don't have to drill trough the car body. Aditionally I mounted a convegent nozzle in the front of the hose, so the intake area is more or less the same.

In January, it will be two years. I made a left turn from the left turn lane (we drive on the right)with a green light and this guy coming the opposite way didn't see the red light. He was going about 35-40mph(21-24km/h), the ground was wet, his wheels locked up...BLAM. I was wearing a 3in. lap belt and still hit my head on the right door.
Needless to say, I had a headache for a few days. That, some bruises, small cuts from the tempered glass, and a sore neck and back was all that happened. I was lucky.
My new 1200, which has become my daily driver, came with a full roll cage and I don't mind climbing over the bars one bit.
Insurance wise, the "bad" part was that I didn't really get hurt. After the medical and lawyer bills, I barely took home $2000.

Sorry to see that.
But just wanted to point out that 35-40 miles is actually more like 55-65kmh...
miles * 1.6 = km
