stock 1200 on left. 1980 210/B310 on right.
The 210 lower control arms are a little beefier, but are still the same length as 1200. The strut tube is 50mm OD. The brakes/rotors also come off with out dissassembling the entire front end. The struts from a 200sx, 280zx, 510 should also mount on these steering knuckles (future plans).

Yeah I've got the same front struts/brakes and control arm ('82 210) on my 1200 right now, but actually I switched to some 710 wagon calipers as they are a little beefier than the 210 ones. I have been told the same thing about 280ZX struts mounting to the 210/B310 steering knuckle so I bought a set of 83 280ZX struts and brakes and am waiting for them to get shipped here before I can test it all out. It's a good combo, and it's not really necessary to swap master cylinders, I'm still using a good stock 1200 master cylinder works fine!

That's good to here, because I was not planning on changing the master cylinder.
I went around and around, at the junkyard, with a tape measure and verneer caliper trying to see what would fit. I saw an '80 something 200sx(s12) with vented rotors and larger calipers that I was very interested in, but I don't think my 13" wheels would fit over them. Whatever, the point is I can upgrade in the future.

this is ome great info right here - is any1 able to say what parts would be needed for a conversion to 200B brakes and maybee control arms as well. i have a spare 200B front end and have access to Z struts etc. if any1 can provide info it would be gr8 ! my coupe is starting to out-wear its little brakes..

i have 81 280ZX struts and I'm gethering info still, but apparently you can cut off the lower spring perch and reweld a 210 upper perch and use 240sx springs. Or you can do a conversion to coil overs and then you have a wider choice of springs.

huge brake disks too! which seem like they work with 13" wheels.
