Come to think of it, Holden phased out the manufacture of Holden cars during the 1979 to about '85 period. Now they just make cars with Holden badges. They also sell other makes of car, to which they just affix Holden badges.

For what it's worth, the valve arangement makes it look to be a crossflow head if that helps

ill give you a hint, the motor is mounted north-south and it's tilted to the left (when looking from the front of the car)

only engine i can remember thats tilted like that is a corrolla 1.3...
