The trims along the uper part of the body seem to be a JDM thing as they were not used on Aussie DeLuxe models
The Aussie cars all seem to have used the round mirror heads, while Japanese cars seem to use both round & these ones. The method of mounting the mirrors does not seem to follow any real pattern either. The mirrors were a factory option in Japan [standard here] & some were fitted atop the fender, as shown, while others were fitted to the side of the fender, near the top. Perhaps some were dealer installed & this may have something to do with it.

Door mounting was one of the two optional positions, but i have never seen a factory door-mounted mirror.

This is something I would love in Okinawa as they run like 42mpg if you drive them nicely and are so easy to look after.

I have seen an imaculate kb10 coupe on a magazine advertised for 2,600,000 yen thats about 30k AU about 8 years ago. So the one you bought josh is a bargain.
