 Re: Clutch This American made, Centerforce brand, clutch is not the usual diaphragm type, but looks to be a Borg & Beck type with weighted release fingers that provide additional clamping force as the RPM rise. As Josh pointed out to me, this means that the pedal pressure is relatively low, yet the clamping force at high rpm, when it's needed, is high. It's old technology, it's all good.
Borg & Beck type clutches use coil springs & seem to be little seen these days.
