how i mounted them using original brackets on original mounts, bolted that boxed steel to moving part of rail and added spacer so that the handle to move seat back and forward could still be operated

 Re: Seat rails
there is a btter pic, they came out of some volvo apparently (dont know if they were standard in that, there was no brand name on seats), Tayell automotive had em sitting in his workshop so i grabbed em, they didnt have harness holes but we just cut them in after recovering (havent done passanger seat yet cause i dont have to sit in that one )

i though about centre of gravity, but ease of install took preference, i might have to do a better job when i fix em up, i guess i rushed too much

Looks like good work!
But one thing I would like to point out for your own safety and so you don't have trouble with RTA inspections is that when bolting through box tubing engineering requirements state that an anti-crush tube should be fitted! ( basically a sleeve for the bolt but inside the box tube so that the tube can't crush!)

This is a NSW engineering requirement but I am assuming Victoria would be the same!
Also any seat modifications have to be engineer signified!

Just though you might like to check this out!
Cheers,
Steve

I would also keep in mind what tensile bolts you use in this application as well. As im sure you are aware, the bolts you use are the only thing stopping you smacking the wheel\dashboard under heavy braking or worse, a heavy inpact. No comprimize for safety !
I only say this beacause a mate of mine drove around for years (around 5) with a similar setup, but only used mild steel bolts until one day he had a moderate impact with another car. All four bolts snapped clean off.

Well, it seems to me you have also raised your center of gravity by adding the extra height. I wasn't going to say anything, but you asked.
